Richard and Norman have found their forever family! They were adopted by their foster parents on July 31, 2009.
Richard, born in October, 1997 is "all boy". He is the older of the two children and is very protective of his younger brother. Richard is an inquisitive and curious child. He enjoys most sports, his favorites being soccer and basketball. He also enjoys attending summer camp programs because of his love of the outdoors. Richard makes good grades in school and seems to enjoy learning new things.
Norman, born November 1999, is the younger of the two siblings and appears to be much more reserved and shy than his brother. Norman looks up to his brother as a role model and as a protector. He also enjoys sports and loves playing baseball and soccer. He enjoys attending summer camps each year and loves to go camping. He receives speech therapy services through the public school to help with his speech delay.
Both boys needs the help of medication to deal with his ADHD and the help of a counselor to address issues related to their past and to help prepare them for the adoption process. They have been with the same foster family for many years, so they will need a caring and understanding adoptive family to help them through this transition. |
